ES, Incorporated
(ESI) staff members include professionals who have developed and
maintained distinguished careers in education, training, management,
communications, staff and organization development, evaluation,
and research.
They have extensive
experience as university professors, clinical practitioners, publications
directors, project managers and associates, and/or trainers.
In addition
to the professional staff, ESI maintains an active roster of about
70 expert consultants. The "Retained Consultant Pool" consists of
personnel who specialize in data collection, data analysis, curriculum
design, and training. They are available for project work on an
as-needed basis.
Dr. Vincent
Perry is the founder and President of ESI. He has 30 years of experience
in a variety of professional positions in education, clinical practice,
management, and research. Notable among these positions are: Full
Professor, Research, University of the District of Columbia; Associate
Professor and Director of Undergraduate Social Work, Syracuse University;
Director, Associate Professor, School of Social Work, Virginia Commonwealth
University; Director, Curriculum Development and Evaluation Division,
National Drug Abuse Center for Training and Development; Director
of Group Services, House of the Good Shepherd, Utica, NY; Director,
Commission on Human Rights and Community Relations, City of Utica
and Oneida County, NY; and Principal Investigator for action research
projects sponsored by Federal, State, and municipal governments.
In the business
arena, Dr. Perry has established a sound approach to identifying
customer needs, and providing high quality, cost effective business
solutions.
Mr. Joseph
Long is the Vice President and senior manager for the company. He
is responsible for the implementation of company policies and procedures,
technical direction, and the monitoring and oversight of project
managers, cost center managers and other subordinate employees.
Mr. Long has
26 years of experience in project management, social services, health
education, adolescent and child welfare, recruitment and training,
HIV/AIDS education and program management.
Mr. Long began
his professional career at the National Headquarters of the American
Red Cross as the Assistant Director of Donor Services where he was
responsible for coordinating the blood programs for the District
of Columbia government, federal agencies, businesses and schools.
After five years in Donor Services, Mr. Long was promoted to Division
Director of Disaster Services for the American Red Cross National
Capitol Division, where he coordinated both local and national disasters
which included the Air Florida 14th Street Bridge disaster in Washington,
DC and the evacuation of the international school in Afghanistan.
Mr. Long continued
working with the American Red Cross until 1991 when he accepted
a position with ESI. At ESI, Mr. Long has provided leadership and
management to staff on both local and national levels.
Dr. Jones is
ESI's Vice President. She is responsible for the implementation
of company policies and procedures. Dr. Jones brings to this role
a 10 year record of involvement in applied research, project management
and education. She has served as Project Director in private industry;
and has presented papers and served as a panelist at research conferences
and seminars throughout the United States. Dr. Jones has also served
as a lecturer at Howard University and the University of Maryland
College Park.
