If the Baccalaureate or Graduate Degree in education or counseling qualification is not met, then an alternative requirements are: a Baccalaureate Degree in any field of studies from a regionally accredited institution and a minimum of two college level courses covering: (1) Educational Tests and Measurements and (2) Counseling, plus at least three years of experience in the field of adult education or adult educational counseling. Experience: Personnel should have at least three years of experience in the field of adult education or adult educational counseling. ______________________________________________ Company seeks five (5) Full-Time Appeal Specialist/Para-adjudicators. Two of the positions are to be located in Victor, NY (a suburb of Rochester, NY) and three positions will be located in King of Prussia, PA (a suburb of Philadelphia, PA). Job/task requires assisting professional and medical staff in making reconsideration determinations in fee for service disputes, performing case reviews, outlining facts in cases for review by adjudicator, prioritizing and researching relevant issues, maintaining complete and accurate case files. Education/Experience Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or other similar clinical certification or licensure and/or para-legal certification. Ability to respond to outside contacts including Medicare affiliated contractors, beneficiaries, providers, suppliers, and clients. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to perform in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment; ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously, and ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.
